  • Our approach

Positive Mind Hub uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play-based Therapy. Sessions are collaborative and focused on helping clients develop skills and strategies to manage their concerns. The practice takes a neuroaffirming approach, centering on principles of neurodiversity and inclusion to create environments where every client feels seen, heard, and valued. Therapists strive to create safe and collaborative spaces where clients of all ages can feel comfortable being authentically themselves. Therapy is tailored to individual needs, with duration varying based on specific concerns and goals—some clients benefit from 1 to 5 sessions, while others may need 10 to 15 sessions or more for deeper exploration and lasting change.

  • Your first visit

The first appointment typically involves an initial interview to understand your concerns and needs. For assessment-based appointments, this is followed by standardized tests and questionnaires tailored to your specific situation. After gathering information, the clinician will discuss initial findings and recommendations with you. While every assessment and consultation is unique, the duration typically ranges between 1 and 3 hours depending on the specific needs identified. For therapy appointments, sessions are structured as collaborative discussions focused on developing practical skills and strategies relevant to your concerns. You can contact the team by phone, email, or online booking form to schedule your first appointment.
