  • Our approach

Occupational Therapy for Every Child takes a neuro-affirming, evidence-informed approach tailored to each child's individual goals and needs. Sessions focus on building practical daily living skills, sensory regulation, emotional wellbeing and school participation in environments that matter most – home, school, clinic or online. The therapy is flexible and goal-centred, with practical, real-world strategies designed to build independence and confidence. Sessions are tailored to suit each person's pace and may include work on routines, communication, sensory needs and community access. The team believes in helping young people develop the capability and confidence they need to participate meaningfully in everyday life.

  • Working with families

Parent and carer involvement is central to how the service works. The team offers dedicated parent coaching sessions with practical strategies for supporting your child at home, school and in the community, including help with understanding sensory needs, routines, visual supports and communication with schools. Psychology sessions are collaborative and include parent involvement where helpful. The team also provides guidance around NDIS goals, evidence and service options so families feel informed and supported in planning for their child's future.
