The team works flexibly across clinic, home, school and telehealth settings to fit in with your life, offering practical, real-world strategies that build independence at home, school and in the community. In psychology, therapy is collaborative and paced to suit the individual, providing a safe, affirming space to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences using evidence-based approaches. Overall, the service emphasises practical strategies that are easy to use and tailored to each person's environment, helping them feel more capable and in control.

  • Working with families

Family involvement is built into the service model, with the team recognising that parents and carers play an important role in supporting children's progress. Parent coaching sessions are available with practical ideas for supporting your child or young person at home, school and in the community, including understanding sensory needs, behaviour, routines, visual supports and communication with schools or support teams. In psychology, parent involvement is included where helpful. The team also provides guidance around NDIS goals, evidence and service options so families can feel more informed and supported, and works closely with families and schools to create coordinated plans for transitions.
