Our approach
Your child receives therapy grounded in trusted developmental theories and a holistic, heart-led framework that honors their unique journey. Sessions are tailored to your child's age and needs—younger children engage through play, co-regulation, and relational connection at their own pace, while teens benefit from client-led spaces that prioritize autonomy and self-determination. All work is neuro-affirming and strengths-based, recognizing that every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered. The clinic integrates clinical expertise with educational knowledge to offer more than traditional therapy—you'll receive practical tools alongside therapeutic support to nurture emotional wellbeing and lifelong growth. Each session is thoughtfully designed to support your child in the environments that matter most: home, school, and community.
Working with families
The clinic believes that when families are empowered, children flourish, so collaboration is at the heart of all therapy. Your therapist will work closely with you to co-design support plans that align with your child's strengths, needs, and your family's values, ensuring strategies fit naturally into home, school, and community settings. You'll receive a comprehensive report outlining the child's goals, progress, strategies used, and practical tools you can use at home—this report can be submitted to the NDIS for funding support. Therapists collaborate with you throughout the therapy journey to set meaningful goals, celebrate progress, and develop practical tools for everyday life. Communication is warm, respectful, and genuine, welcoming your family as part of the clinic's community.
Meet the team
The clinic was founded by Merve Ozavci Dogan, Senior Therapist and long-standing advocate for neuro-affirming practice, who brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families across counselling, early intervention, developmental therapy, and behaviour support. The team includes qualified Early Childhood Professionals with deep expertise in supporting young children across developmental stages, Occupational Therapists dedicated to helping children build everyday skills, Speech Pathologists passionate about supporting children with diverse communication needs, counsellors trained in evidence-based, person-centered approaches, and Behaviour Support Practitioners trained in positive, trauma-informed approaches. Every team member brings clinical expertise, compassion, and a commitment to safe, ethical, and inclusive practice grounded in leading professional standards.
Your first visit
At your first visit, the therapist will gather important background information about your child through a family questionnaire to understand their history, strengths, and needs. A service agreement outlines the scope of services and expectations, ensuring you're clear on what to expect. You'll work together to identify your family's priorities and create a family support plan that reflects your goals. The clinician will then complete a thorough assessment using standardized tools and observations to build a complete picture of your child's profile. Finally, results are explained clearly and compassionately, and you'll collaborate to develop meaningful, achievable goals that match your child's needs and developmental stage.
