About Next Generation Psychology
Next Generation Psychology is led by Senior Psychologist Natasha, who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents and their families through early intervention. Being neurodivergent herself, she is committed to sharing her experience and knowledge to help neurodivergent children develop greater awareness and understanding of themselves, so they have the best start in life.

Next Generation Psychology lists
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessments
- Comprehensive autism assessments to diagnose autism or conduct review assessments using gold standard tools (ADOS-2 and ADI-R) as per National Guidelines, including school observations and adaptive behavioural assessments.
- Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments
- Thorough ADHD assessments following AADPA guidelines using Conners 4 and BASC-3 to diagnose ADHD and identify comorbid challenges, including clinical observation and feedback sessions.
- Cognitive Assessments
- IQ tests using WPPSI-IV or WISC-V to determine learning abilities by identifying cognitive strengths and weaknesses across verbal comprehension, visual spatial, fluid reasoning, working memory, and processing speed.
- Academic Assessments
- Achievement testing using WIAT-III to measure ability in core academic areas including reading, writing, mathematics, and oral language to diagnose specific learning disorders.
- Behavioural Assessments
- Assessments using ABAS-3, Vineland-3, or BASC-3 to measure adaptive functioning skills and identify behavioural and emotional strengths and weaknesses in home and school environments.
- Neuropsychological Assessment
- NEPSY-II assessment measuring cognitive domains such as attention, executive functioning, memory, language, and visuospatial processing for children aged 3-16 years.
- School-based Observations
- Preschool and school observations including meetings with teachers and provision of strategies to support the child in educational settings.

Our approach
Psychological assessments are used to uncover what may be affecting a child's behaviour, emotions, learning, or development, helping families gain clarity and answers to their questions. The provider offers individually-tailored assessments across a wide range of areas, including autism and ADHD assessments, cognitive testing, academic achievement testing, behavioural assessments, and school-based observations. The approach is grounded in early intervention and supporting neurodivergent children with evidence-based practices. Sessions are tailored to each child's needs, with the goal of helping children develop greater self-awareness and understanding. The founder, Natasha, is neurodivergent herself and believes strongly in the empowering effect of knowledge for children and families.
