  • Our approach

At New Growth Psychology, therapy draws from multiple evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This integrated approach means your child's support plan is tailored specifically to their needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. The practice views each person holistically, considering the biological, psychological, and sociocultural aspects that make them unique. Sessions focus on identifying meaningful changes your child can make in their daily life, helping them transcend mental health difficulties and craft a life they're proud to lead. The therapeutic environment is designed as a safe space where young people can express their emotions, learn to process them, and grow into balanced, independent individuals.
