Our approach
New Aspects Psychology uses evidence-based therapies to help with a wide range of emotional and behavioural concerns. Sessions focus on developing insights into emotions, dealing with past experiences, and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns. The clinic works with clients to find new ways of viewing and managing situations, set meaningful goals, and build on existing skills and strengths. Through therapy, clients learn how their thinking patterns impact their emotions and behaviour, which supports improvements in mood, anxiety levels, and overall well-being.
Your first visit
At a first appointment, the aim is to help you feel comfortable in the therapy space. The psychologist will work with you to establish your goals, understand what is most important to you, and identify what you'd like to change. They will then explain how psychotherapy can help and work together with you to take the essential steps toward positive change.
