Naturally Kids is a purpose-driven allied health organisation supporting neurodivergent children and families to experience genuine belonging. They believe children do best when they feel safe to be themselves — when they can connect with others, explore their interests, and participate in ways that feel authentic to them. - Individual Occupational Therapy Sessions
- One-on-one occupational therapy sessions with an Occupational Therapist available at home, school, daycare, local park, or other preferred locations in Townsville, Nambour and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
- Joey's Mob
- Nature-based occupational therapy group for Townsville clients where children connect to nature, build relationships with peers and develop a sense of belonging in outdoor settings.
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Therapeutic role-playing group using the Critical Core system inspired by Dungeons & Dragons where children build communication, teamwork, flexible thinking, and confidence through collaborative quests and storytelling.
- Sense Rugby
- Occupational therapy program for children aged 4 to 12 years designed to help kids who find it challenging to be part of a sports team and build relationships with peers. Available to Townsville clients only.
- Minecraft Blockbusters
- Minecraft-inspired therapy group where children design, build and problem-solve together using real-world materials in a sensory gym, supporting creativity, teamwork, communication, emotional regulation and school-readiness skills.

Our approach
The service uses a neuro-affirming, play-based approach focused on building confidence, connection and authentic participation. Individual occupational therapy sessions take place wherever works best for your family—at home, school, daycare, or local parks—making therapy accessible and meaningful. Sessions use play as a core therapeutic tool, helping children reach their full potential while staying motivated and engaged. The team is trauma-informed and recognizes that many children struggle not because something is wrong with them, but because their environments aren't designed for how they learn and connect. All sessions are evidence-based and support children to develop their strengths, become more self-aware, and spend more time doing the things they love.
Meet the team
The Townsville team includes Director and Occupational Therapist Kymberley, who is the only occupational therapist in North Queensland certified in the ConTiGO approach. The team consists of five additional occupational therapists—Tanya (Practice Manager), Amy, Grace, Vania, and Neil—plus three Senior Allied Health Assistants: Hayley, Shae, and Dominic. They are all trained pediatric professionals with experience supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and developmental coordination disorders. The team is supported by Julie-Ann, the Client Experience Concierge.
