Our approach
At Luci Webb Occupational Therapy, treatment uses evidence-based techniques centred on the 'Secret Code'—a unique, colour-coded handwriting and literacy approach developed by Luci Webb and based on leading research in orthography and memory. Sessions incorporate a variety of methods including children's activities, multisensory learning, and computer programs tailored to your child's specific needs. The practice focuses on building foundational skills in letter recognition and recall before progressing to words and sentences, with particular emphasis on working memory as it underpins reading, writing, spelling and maths. Your child receives individualised care mapped to their unique developmental stage and challenges, whether that's early play-based intervention, handwriting skills, or addressing feeding and behavioural concerns.
