  • Our approach

At Little Lionheart, children are supported to express themselves and develop a voice in their own therapy goals and intervention. The approach is strengths-based, working to understand the challenges your child faces and supporting them in overcoming these so they can grow with greater joy, freedom and connection. Sessions are built on fostering children's ability to communicate and be heard, recognising that every child needs the space and opportunity to do this. Therapists partner with families to empower children to realise their own abilities and potential, so they can continue growing independently.

  • Working with families

Parent involvement is central to Little Lionheart's approach, with several parent programs offered including "It Takes Two to Talk", "Tuning in to Kids", and "More Than Words". The provider works to empower families alongside children, recognising that therapists are only part of people's lives for a moment in time and supporting families to realise their own abilities and potential. This partnership approach enables families to continue supporting their child's growth beyond therapy sessions.
