Working with families
The provider actively involves parents and carers as partners in the therapeutic process. Communication is direct, honest and easy, with staff regularly checking in with families about how services are going and what's working well. Parents are encouraged to participate in sessions alongside their child, and siblings are welcomed to join in when they wish. The approach recognises that therapy benefits the whole family unit, and the provider takes time to ensure parents feel comfortable, at ease and equipped with strategies to support their child at home. Feedback from families emphasises how staff communicate openly and work collaboratively to improve outcomes for the entire family.
