About Literacy & Learning Centre
The Literacy and Learning Centre provides comprehensive assessments to help families understand their child's strengths, challenges, and the supports that will make a difference at home and school. They offer dyslexia assessments, cognitive/IQ testing, ADHD assessments, autism assessments, and gifted assessments for children and adolescents across Sydney and the Inner West, with remote options available.

Our approach
The centre takes an engaging, child-friendly approach designed to help children feel involved and confident during assessments. Sessions use structure, encouragement, and fun to bring out each child's best. Assessments highlight strengths, clarify challenges, and provide families with practical guidance they can use at home and school. The reports offer a clear picture of learning strengths and challenges with detailed, practical recommendations. Schools find the structured reports helpful for planning classroom adjustments, and families appreciate the clarity to make informed decisions about their child's learning and wellbeing.

The centre prioritises clear, parent-friendly communication about their child's learning needs and supports. Families receive detailed reports that guide decision-making about learning and wellbeing, with practical recommendations for use at home and school. The receptionist provides personalised support in booking appointments and finding suitable times.
