With over 500+ centres globally, Kip McGrath provides highly focused tutoring in English and maths based on personalised learning programs designed specifically for each child's needs. The Mackay centre has been tutoring students for over 15 years and is directed by a Mathematics/Physics specialist with a team of registered primary and secondary teachers who help children fill learning gaps from prep through to advanced senior subjects.

Our approach
Kip McGrath uses live and interactive lessons tailored to each child's individual needs, recognising that every child learns differently. Sessions focus on English, Maths, Reading, Spelling and Comprehension, delivered either online or in centre by qualified teachers. The proven methodology has been refined over decades and is designed to help children catch up and keep up in these core academic areas. Most children attend once a week, concentrating on one subject per session. The program is built around personalised learning that targets each child's specific strengths and learning gaps identified through assessment.
Your first visit
The first appointment begins with a free assessment that helps identify your child's strengths and any learning gaps in English and Maths. This assessment results guide the development of a personalised learning program tailored specifically to your child's needs. There is no cost for this initial assessment, making it an accessible way for parents to understand exactly how their child is progressing. The assessment findings are then used to structure the tutoring plan going forward.
