Our approach
KiddOTherapy uses play to engage children and encourage their participation while working towards individualised goals. Sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, with occupational therapists working closely with children and families to set meaningful goals and develop a personalised treatment plan. The approach supports the development of gross motor, fine motor, sensory processing, regulation, cognition and social skills. Therapists help children develop existing skills and learn new ones in the places where they need them most—at home, school and in the community—by collaborating with parents, teachers and other health professionals to ensure consistency in the strategies being used.
