  • Our approach

Rebecca creates a gentle, nurturing, and empathetic environment where children and adolescents can openly express their concerns. She works collaboratively with each individual to develop effective coping strategies and equip them with tools to navigate life's challenges and thrive. Her therapeutic approach draws on a range of evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical and Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Schema Therapy, and Virtual Reality Therapy, among others. She also works closely with parents, caregivers, and school staff to jointly set goals and implement tailored strategies that enhance wellbeing and development. Beyond individual therapy, Rebecca conducts comprehensive clinical assessments to address learning, behaviour, and mental health concerns, and provides guidance on tailored pathways and strategies specific to each person's needs.

  • Working with families

Rebecca works collaboratively with parents and carers, offering consultations and support beyond the sessions with your child. She jointly sets goals with families and implements tailored strategies to enhance your child's wellbeing and development across home and school settings. She also consults with school staff to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting your child's needs. By bringing families and schools into the therapeutic process, Rebecca helps build a supportive network that enables your child to thrive both at home and in the community.

  • Meet the team

Rebecca is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Melbourne and 15 years of professional experience working with families, children, and adolescents in developmental, learning, and mental health fields. She has worked across Australia and Singapore, providing psychological intervention and assessment services in community mental health, hospital settings, and schools. Rebecca is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Board-Approved Supervisor who has supervised and trained early career psychologists, and she brings extensive expertise in assessing and treating a wide range of childhood and adolescent concerns.

  • Your first visit

At the initial session, Rebecca guides you in discussing your concerns, exploring your child's history, and establishing assessment or treatment goals. The first consultation lasts 50–90 minutes and ensures open communication about what brings you to therapy, your family's needs, and what you hope to achieve. During this time, Rebecca clarifies the approach that will be taken, discusses session frequency, and answers any questions you may have. This comprehensive initial meeting helps everyone understand the path forward and sets a clear foundation for the work ahead.
