• Working with families

You'll receive a written report with practical recommendations designed to support your family, along with a clear plan and timeline from the outset. The team also welcomes questions and clarification—if you're unsure about whether assessment is right for your child, you're encouraged to contact them to discuss your concerns.

• Your first visit

  At the initial stage, you'll submit an online referral form sharing details about what you're looking for, then the team reviews the referral and confirms whether an assessment is the right fit. If appropriate, you'll receive a clear plan outlining the assessment process, indicative costs, and timeline. The assessment itself includes direct work with the child, caregiver interviews, observations at daycare or school where appropriate, and collaboration with healthcare providers. You'll receive a written report with practical recommendations to support school planning, funding applications, and next steps. If you're unsure whether assessment is appropriate, the team is happy to clarify options at the outset.
