Our approach
Hester Psychology uses a respectful, neurodiversity-affirming approach to assessment that recognises neurodivergence is not a deficit. Sessions involve direct work with the child, caregiver interviews, and collaboration with healthcare providers and schools to build a comprehensive understanding of each child's unique profile. The assessments explore attention, sensory processing, communication, learning differences, and social development, including Autism and ADHD profiles. The aim is to provide clarity and practical recommendations that honour each child's potential, helping families, schools, and health professionals understand how the child processes and responds to the world. Meaningful support starts with accurate understanding tailored to the individual child's needs.
