  • Our approach

Heartland OT works from a holistic, strengths-based model that considers the whole person—physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health—and understands how environment affects wellbeing. Sessions incorporate art therapy and play-based therapies as therapeutic tools. The practice views each child in the context of their natural, built and psychosocial environments, tailoring support to individual needs and family goals. Strong partnerships are formed with families to help achieve their therapy objectives.
