Our approach
Growing Kids Occupational Therapy uses a compassionate, neurobiology-informed approach grounded in understanding child development, attachment theory, sensory processing and the impact of early adverse experiences. The foundation of all work focuses on building safety, regulation and relationships—essential stepping stones before children can learn new skills and develop resilience. Sessions address sensory processing, emotional regulation, social support and challenging behaviours, with the philosophy that children, like flowers, need just the right environment to bloom. The occupational therapist works with individual children in therapy while also equipping parents, carers and teachers with practical tools and strategies they can use to support their child's growth.
