Our approach
Giggle and Grow creates a therapeutic environment centred around fun and laughter, with sessions designed to build trust and identify your child's strengths. Nicole takes time to get to know each child and uses evidence-based practice tailored to their needs, incorporating their interests through creative and flexible play. The service has a special passion for parent coaching and capacity building, working with you to set goals and strategies that support your child. Sessions are adapted to be fun and engaging, whether delivered through standard intervention, parent coaching, or the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) for children with autism. The team collaborates with early learning services, schools and other providers to ensure goals align across your child's different environments.
Working with families
Giggle and Grow has a strong passion for parent coaching and capacity building, working collaboratively with you to identify goals and strategies that support your child at home and in your daily life. The service connects with your child's early learning service, other service providers, and school to understand your child's strengths and challenges across different environments and ensure goals are aligned for best outcomes. Nicole can also support you access the NDIS by completing paperwork, assessments, and writing supporting documentation to help your family get the services you need. Regular communication and partnership are central to the approach, recognising that your knowledge and involvement are essential to your child's progress.
Meet the team
Nicole is the speech pathologist at Giggle and Grow, a passionate and fun-loving early intervention specialist with 10 years of experience working with children in their early years. She has particular expertise and special interest in neurodivergent children and their families, and is a certified Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) therapist. Nicole is committed to evidence-based practice and creating a strong foundation of fun and trust in therapy to support children meet their goals.
Your first visit
An initial consultation is your starting point with Giggle and Grow, allowing Nicole to get to know your child and discuss your concerns and goals. Following this initial consultation, standardised assessments can be completed to identify your child's strengths and current developmental stage across areas such as speech sound, language, pragmatic communication, and feeding skills. The assessment process is used as a tool to understand your child's needs and inform the best direction for therapy. This foundation helps ensure the therapy journey ahead is tailored specifically to your child and family's needs.
