  • Our approach

Full Potential Paediatrics takes a collaborative, family-centred approach to therapy. The team works with families to develop practical and realistic treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, recognising that not one approach fits all. Sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, incorporating various activities and exercises suited to the child's age and abilities, such as strengthening exercises, fitness, balance and coordination activities, and movements appropriate to their condition. The provider specialises in a range of conditions including cerebral palsy, developmental delays, neurological disorders and movement disorders, using specialised treatment approaches like hydrotherapy, DMI therapy, PIASTM and spinal stimulation. Therapy can take place in different settings—in clinic, at home, in the community or at the pool—depending on what works best for each child.

  • Working with families

The provider is passionate about family-centred education and fitting therapy goals into everyday activities. Communication occurs through your assigned therapist, who will discuss your child's individual needs and recommend the most suitable treatment plan and location for sessions. Families are involved as partners in developing practical and realistic treatment plans, and the team encourages parents to prepare their children for sessions and bring items that make therapy more enjoyable. The provider's approach emphasises collaborative relationships with families to support your child's progress at home and in daily life.
