• Our approach

  Occupational therapy at Evolve Therapy focuses on helping children participate meaningfully in daily activities through a holistic, functional approach. Sessions are delivered in the clinic, at school, or at home, with a dedicated sensory gym designed by therapists to make learning fun and engaging. Therapists work with each child individually to address their specific needs—whether sensory, motor, emotional regulation, or other developmental goals—using therapeutic activities and exercises tailored to their interests and values. The therapy emphasises enabling children to lead fulfilling and independent lives by developing skills they need for the activities that matter most to them and their families.

• Working with families

  Clients and families communicate directly with their child's therapist from the initial appointment throughout the entire intervention process, ensuring ongoing dialogue about progress and goals. The team is dedicated to meeting families' therapy needs whether appointments are in the clinic, home or school, and works collaboratively with parents and carers to support their child's development. Therapists provide recommendations to caregivers and teachers on how to support the child's progress in daily activities and learning. The clinic emphasises a family-centred approach, with input from parents and carers being central to developing personalised treatment plans that reflect each family's values and interests.

• Meet the team

  The team at Evolve Therapy Services consists of NDIS registered Occupational Therapists led by Principal Occupational Therapist Angela Cook, alongside occupational therapists including Aimee Lund, Louise Nimmo, Zoe Simmons, Jade Atkinson, Lauren McPhee, Tayla Stranger, Tiannah Peters, Jacqueline Beven, Kerryn Waters and Natalie Kellett. The clinic also has a Practice Administrator, Hannah Spencer, supporting operations. The team prides itself on combining decades of clinical and community experience to deliver high-standard therapy and care. Occupational therapists are healthcare professionals trained to help individuals with physical, cognitive or mental health conditions achieve their goals and participate meaningfully in daily activities.
