Our approach
Espire uses evidence and play-based intervention to support children in reaching their individualised goals within a warm and welcoming environment. The team works collaboratively with children and their families, acting as partners who help young people develop the skills to thrive and live more purposeful, independent lives. Therapy is tailored to address each child's unique needs, with sessions designed to celebrate achievements and strengthen wellbeing. The approach embraces each child's individuality and recognises them as the driver of their own life, with occupational therapists working alongside them to navigate the world and reach their full potential.
Working with families
Espire is committed to collaborating closely with families, carers, educators and the child themselves to optimise and support goal achievement. The team works with families to explore and prescribe assistive technologies when needed, and maintains ongoing communication throughout the therapy process. Personalised intervention plans are developed in partnership with families to ensure therapy supports the child's needs across home, school and community settings.
