Our approach
Enabling Hands uses a play-based, child-led philosophy grounded in DIR/Floortime and neuroaffirming practice. Sessions follow the child's interests and focus on building regulation, engagement, communication, and social-emotional development through meaningful interactions and warm, positive play. The therapist joins the child in play, creating shared experiences where children learn to connect, communicate, problem-solve, and participate more confidently in daily life. For younger children, parent-child relationally informed intervention may be used, which coaches parents to notice their child's cues and use play-based strategies during everyday routines. The service is strengths-based and collaborative, working with families to reach their goals.
