Our approach
EveryKid uses a movement, developmental and research-based approach where hard work is disguised as play. Sessions are tailored to each child's needs through observation, assessment and family-led goal setting. The centre is purpose-built for children, with every therapist, room and program designed specifically for paediatric therapy. Initial sessions focus on understanding your child's story, identifying challenges, and developing a plan together. The team believes in tracking clear, functional goals from the start so families can see measurable progress.
Working with families
EveryKid involves families from the very first session by setting family-led goals and keeping parents updated on progress through clear tracking of functional outcomes. Parents are encouraged to be involved in therapy sessions and implement prescribed strategies at home for maximum results. The team communicates and collaborates with all of your child's services for a consistent, multidisciplinary approach. There's a parent lounge for carers to relax while waiting, and the team can provide reports for various purposes including school, daycare and NDIS funding. Families work together with therapists on individualised strategies to achieve their goals.
Meet the team
EveryKid's multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists (Huss, Alexa, Dalena, Nicky, Harrison), occupational therapists (Zoe, Kesh, Veronica, Kiera, Bree, Erin, Arathi, Jessica), speech therapists (Rosa, Priscilla, Pam, Nilay, Christy, Jamie, Julia, Saumya), and co-founders Terrey and Bec. The team also includes administration and outreach staff. All therapists are experienced paediatric specialists trained in their respective disciplines, and they work collaboratively under one roof to create shared plans for each child.
Your first visit
Your initial consultation begins with understanding your child's story and uses clinical observation and assessment to identify any challenges. The therapists work with you to determine family-led goals and build rapport with your child. By the end of the session, you'll have a clear plan for ongoing therapy or a home program to continue. The initial consultations are designed to triage your family's needs and guide you through therapy options. You'll leave knowing what's needed and what comes next for your child.
