  At EmpowerU Holistic Therapy, the team uses a recovery-focused approach that combines occupational therapy tools with psychological techniques to address not only the diagnosis itself but also its impact on daily life. Sessions are tailored to help children, adolescents and adults build practical skills for functioning and thriving in everyday activities. The provider works across various settings including homes, preschools, schools, and via telehealth to make support accessible. Whether addressing motor delays, sensory processing differences, social skills, anxiety, or other challenges, the focus is on creating a safe, confidential space where clients can explore their needs and build resilience. The team strives to create meaningful connections that facilitate growth and healing in a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Meet the team

  EmpowerU Holistic Therapy is directed and founded by Deepa Ramakrishnan, a mental health endorsed Occupational Therapist and registered Clinical Counsellor with professional experience in both the UK and Australia. Deepa has worked across diverse settings including workplace rehabilitation, psychiatric wards, and paediatric environments, and has presented at the National Allied Health Conference while advocating for best practices in the field. She has also mentored numerous students to support the growth of future professionals in Occupational Therapy. The team comprises mental health endorsed Occupational Therapists who are also registered clinical counsellors, equipped to provide both therapy and counselling services.
