  • Our approach

At Effective Psychology, therapy draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and Schema Therapy. Sessions are designed to help you understand the roots of emotional distress and navigate life's challenges with clarity and insight. The clinic itself was thoughtfully designed to feel calm, warm, and welcoming rather than cold or clinical—many clients say they feel more at ease the moment they walk in. The aim is to provide a supportive, grounding space where you can slow down, talk openly about what's been happening, and work toward meaningful change alongside your psychologist.

  • Meet the team

Robert has completed a PhD in mindfulness and well-being and is passionate about supporting clients to lead more satisfying, meaningful lives, treating a wide range of difficulties while fostering resilience and psychological strength.
