Working with families

Parents and carers are involved in the assessment process and receive detailed written reports within 7–10 working days that explain findings and recommendations. Your first visit

At the initial appointment, the child undergoes formal psychological and educational assessment using standardised testing batteries appropriate to their age and presenting concerns. The assessment examines cognitive abilities, learning, behaviour and emotional functioning across multiple domains. A fully registered psychologist is personally involved throughout the process. Following the appointment, a comprehensive report is completed within 7–10 working days, detailing findings and recommendations to guide next steps with medical specialists, schools or other support services.
