Our approach
Dr Sally Carter works using a collaborative, strengths-based approach, drawing on best-practice and evidence-based therapies tailored to your child's unique concerns. Sessions are conducted in a warm, welcoming and professional manner. The service is flexible, with appointments available either in-person at the Newport office or via telehealth, depending on your family's needs and circumstances. Initial assessments for children and adolescents are 80 minutes to allow thorough understanding of your child's situation, while ongoing sessions are 50 minutes. The therapy is individualised, with the number and frequency of sessions reviewed collaboratively as treatment progresses, ensuring the approach fits your family's journey.
