  • Your first visit

The initial appointment runs for a full hour, during which time is spent discussing the consent form, your current difficulties, and important background information to understand your needs. The session focuses on gathering details collaboratively to identify your goals for therapy. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete paperwork so the full hour can be spent together. The primary aim of the first session is to develop rapport and trust—the essential building blocks of a successful therapeutic relationship. Payment is required at the end of the session and can be made by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card (with a small merchant fee).
