Our approach
Therapy at Desert Flame Psychology is warm, grounded and non-judgmental, with a focus on creating a comfortable space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Sessions draw on attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and trauma-informed approaches, tailored to suit your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. The therapeutic relationship is central to the work, with an emphasis on feeling understood rather than analysed. The approach is particularly helpful for people who appear to be coping on the surface but feel stuck, disconnected, or ready for change, exploring the patterns, beliefs, emotions and nervous system responses shaping your experience.
