  • Our approach

The service takes a practical and process-based approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and Schema Therapy. Sessions focus on psycho-education, skills development, enhancing adaptive behaviours, and processing intrusive content. The practice is trauma-informed with a strong developmental focus, and treatment modalities are tailored to individual presentations. Initial enquiry leads to appropriate assessments, which then inform the most suitable treatment approach for each client.

  • Meet the team

The team includes a Clinical Psychologist and Registered Psychologists. All clinicians are university qualified with postgraduate qualifications, fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA), and approved therapists under Medicare and Work Cover. The practice is selective in hiring, requiring clinicians to have warmth, compassion, and solid experience. Staff are experienced in providing children and adolescents with tools to navigate challenging and vulnerable stages of life. The office is open for assessment and treatment six days per week.
