Our approach
Sessions use a trauma-responsive, neurodiversity-affirming approach tailored for children and adolescents navigating developmental or learning delay, disability, Autism, or neurodivergence. The service combines strengths-based counselling with practical therapeutic techniques designed to help young people develop self-awareness and enhance their understanding of social interactions. Sessions focus on guiding clients to uncover their strengths and cultivate skills for positive change, empowering them to navigate life's complexities. For example, counselling may include strategies to manage anxiety, build self-monitoring skills, and develop independence. The work is holistic and affirms neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ identities, recognising that all individuals learn and develop differently.
