Our approach

Concept Education uses intensive text-specific lessons, personalised one-on-one tutorials, and detailed essay feedback to help students master HSC and VCE English and Maths. Sessions are structured around teaching both theory and exam technique that have enabled past students to achieve top Band 6 marks and state rankings. The approach emphasizes line-by-line feedback on essay drafts, breaking down difficult concepts through worked examples created by state-ranking tutors, and providing extensive course materials. Students learn not just content but the skills and strategies needed to excel, with tutors adapting their teaching style to individual learning preferences to create focused, personalised learning experiences.

Meet the team

The Concept Education team consists of state-ranking tutors who are high-achieving graduates from prestigious Australian universities and selective schools. All tutors have attained ATARs of 98 or above and include individuals ranked within the top performers in NSW for English Advanced and other subjects. The team members hold degrees from universities including UNSW, University of Sydney, ANU, and University of Melbourne in fields such as Law, Medicine, Commerce, and Computer Science. The founder, Simran Nandan, established Concept Education to provide high-quality English tutoring with a commitment to supporting students in reaching their full potential and working alongside parents to help students thrive.
