Our approach
CoastalPlay OT uses a holistic and child-centred approach to occupational therapy. Therapy takes place primarily in the child's natural environments—home, daycare, kinder and school—to ensure therapeutic change happens where children spend most of their time. The focus is on developing play, social skills, emotional regulation, sensory integration, self-care, school readiness, and motor skills. By working in these familiar settings rather than in a clinic, children can apply what they learn directly to their daily lives, and families see real-world improvements.
