Our approach
Christina practices a person-centred approach, meaning you are the expert and the therapist is there to support your growth and healing in a gentle way. She believes healing starts in a safe and trusting relationship between client and therapist, and uses a variety of modalities tailored to your needs. Rather than offering a quick fix, therapy helps work through past trauma, bring issues to the surface, change old patterns, and manage behaviour or moods. With children specifically, sessions involve non-directive play therapy where the child leads the way, with the understanding that children work through their issues by playing in a free and protected safe space where they can express themselves.
