Our approach
Occupational Therapy focuses on developing functional skills to help your child become as independent as possible in play, learning, movement and daily activities. Sessions use play-based activities tailored to your child's developmental needs across areas like fine and gross motor skills, self-care, school readiness, handwriting, play skills and regulation. The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) is available for young children with autism or global developmental delay and uses a trans-disciplinary approach, targeting multiple areas of development at once through child-led play with a focus on social-emotional development and communication. Therapy takes place in your home, school, childcare centre or clinic depending on what works best for your family.
