  • Our approach

By supporting children in familiar spaces like home and school, the service helps them feel at ease and naturally engaged. Sessions are conducted in these comfortable environments where children feel safe, with strategies taught and applied directly within daily routines. The approach is gentle and supportive, using a calm, client-centred approach tailored to each child's individual needs. The team prioritises creating a non-judgmental therapeutic environment that promotes feelings of safety and trust, encouraging openness without pressure or stress.

  • Working with families

The service includes an initial parent session and a parent feedback session for each assessment. Parents receive correspondence with teachers and a detailed written report with practical recommendations. Follow-up support is offered to help families apply recommendations, which may include guidance for home routines, school collaboration, or next steps. The team works collaboratively with families and educators to understand each child's needs and provide tailored support for home and school.

  • Meet the team

  • Your first visit

The initial consultation begins by understanding your concerns and gathering background information about your child. During this phase, the team identifies the best approach for your child's specific needs. A structured, child-focused assessment session follows, tailored to your child in a calm and supportive setting. Finally, you receive a detailed report outlining your child's strengths and areas of concern, along with practical recommendations and guidance to help you support your child at home and in school.
