  • Our approach

CARED believes that working with your therapy provider shouldn't add to healthcare complexity. Sessions focus on understanding your individual needs, goals, and schedule, whether delivered face-to-face or via telehealth. The team coordinates care across multiple disciplines so you don't have to repeat your story with different providers. Rather than starting from scratch with each new therapist, your whole team works from one shared record. This coordinated approach means your therapy is tailored to you, and as your needs evolve, the support already knows your background and can adjust accordingly.

  • Meet the team

CARED brings together experienced occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists, dietitians, neuropsychologists, exercise physiologists, and positive behaviour support practitioners, all working under one roof. The team is coordinated to work from one shared record system, eliminating the need for you to repeat your story or details across different practitioners. With NDIS registration and qualified professionals across eight allied health disciplines, the team can address a wide range of needs from initial assessment through to ongoing therapy and support. Each practitioner brings their own expertise, but they work collaboratively so your care is seamless and integrated.

How do I connect with CARED?

You can call +61 1300 367 117, email them and visit their website.

No referral is needed to see one privately. You only need a GP referral if you want to access Medicare rebates or are going through certain funded pathways.

Is speech therapy covered by the NDIS?

It can be, usually under Capacity Building / Improved Daily Living, if it aligns with your child's plan goals. Check your plan or ask your support coordinator.

At what age should we see a speech pathologist?

There's no "too early." If you have concerns about your child's talking or understanding at any age, an assessment can clarify whether support would help.

How long are sessions and how many will we need?

Session length varies between clinics and services, so check it with the provider when you book. The number depends on your child's goals; the pathologist will recommend a plan after the initial assessment.
