The clinic works closely with educators and other allied health professionals to support consistent learning and skill transfer across different environments. The philosophy emphasises that family involvement and education are key to meaningful, functional gains for children. Sessions cover a range of areas including language, speech sounds, literacy, stuttering, and feeding management. This collaborative and inclusive approach ensures that therapy goals are personalised and connected to real-life communication situations that matter to your child and family.
Working with families
Family involvement is central to the philosophy at Big Strides, with the clinic believing that family engagement and education are key to meaningful progress. Regular communication with parents and carers is prioritised, and the clinic works collaboratively with families to develop personalised goals that matter to your child's everyday life. Beyond one-on-one therapy, Big Strides offers consultation and training sessions specifically designed to empower families and educators as communication partners. The clinic also coordinates with educators and other allied health professionals to ensure consistency across different settings and support better outcomes.
