Our approach
Sessions at Canberra Child Testing are designed to be relaxed and fun while maintaining professional standards. The assessment process draws on the child's developmental and educational history, clinical information from parents and teachers, test results, and direct observations. Informal results are provided on the day of testing, followed by a detailed written report within 2–3 weeks that includes findings and recommendations. The service takes a comprehensive approach, looking at cognitive ability, academic skills, behavioural and emotional functioning, and attention patterns to build a complete picture of each child's strengths and needs.
