Our approach
CanAdapt takes a family-centred, neurodiversity-affirming approach that empowers children to engage in learning, play, and life by addressing their unique needs with tailored therapy. Sessions are held in spaces where children feel most comfortable—such as home, school, or local parks—and are designed to be fun, multi-sensory, and goal-focused, combining education and creativity. The service taps into each child's individual strengths and interests to overcome challenges and bridge gaps in their development. Beyond working directly with children, the practice provides essential coaching for caregivers and teachers to ensure consistent support across all environments. Thoughtful and experienced assessment is available to help communicate and clarify each child's functional needs to those supporting them.
