Our approach
Calm Occupational Therapy uses a calm, creative and evidence-based approach to support children's success and wellbeing across learning, relationships, play and community connection. Sessions are individualised and strength-based, helping young people understand their mental health or diagnosis while developing practical coping skills. Interventions may include goal setting, sensory activities, meditation, play-based social skills learning, identifying triggers, and building daily routines. The therapist works flexibly across clinic, home, school and community settings, adapting to what works best for each child and family. Whether through individual sessions or group opportunities, the focus is on helping children participate more fully in their daily lives and enjoy meaningful activities.
