Our approach
Services are tailored to each family's needs through a family-centred approach. Child and Family Facilitators meet with families to understand what support their child needs and what goals they want to achieve, then develop a plan that may involve individual support, group sessions, and community-based programs. Allied health teams provide individual and group programs to assist with fine and gross motor difficulties, emotional regulation, sensory processing, communication difficulties, behavioural problems and anxiety. Evidence-based parenting programs such as Triple P and 1-2-3 Magic are also offered to help families improve children's behaviour and increase parental confidence. All services are provided free of charge to children at risk of poor health, educational and social outcomes in regional, rural and remote areas.
