  • Our approach

Sessions use fun, play-based activities tailored to each child's interests and milestones, creating a warm and non-clinical environment where learning feels natural and engaging. The philosophy centres on building genuine relationships with children and families, recognising that successful therapy is a team effort. Speech pathologists use evidence-based therapy and standardised testing to guide treatment, ensuring children progress meaningfully. Clinics are designed to be colourful, friendly and welcoming, with child-sized furniture and activities to help children feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Parents are equipped with exercises and strategies to practise at home, amplifying progress beyond the session room.

  • Working with families

Parents and carers are central to the therapy process and are involved from the very first appointment. During initial consultations, parents have dedicated time to discuss concerns and share their child's history. Throughout therapy, pathologists equip parents with information, exercises and strategies to practise at home, recognising that successful outcomes depend on teamwork between the pathologist, child and family. The service aims to build real, trusting relationships with both children and parents, with all speech pathologists valuing collaborative, family-centred care. This approach means families are active partners in their child's progress rather than passive observers.

  • Meet the team

There are seven highly skilled speech pathologists on the team, all of whom specialise in paediatrics and are certified practitioners of Speech Pathology Australia. The team is led by Alex Volgin, the founder and managing director with 16 years of industry experience and specialist knowledge in complex speech disorders like Childhood Apraxia of Speech. The speech pathologists have diverse backgrounds and experience working with children across a range of conditions including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, global developmental delay and speech sound disorders. Each pathologist brings a commitment to evidence-based, family-centred practice and building strong relationships with clients. The Operations Manager, Ngoc, supports the business and team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

  • Your first visit

The speech pathologist begins by getting to know you and your child in a warm, friendly room designed to feel comfortable and safe. While your child engages with some initial activities, you'll have time to discuss your concerns and share relevant background information about your child's history. The pathologist then guides your child through a range of play-based activities designed to identify any areas of concern. You'll receive initial feedback during the session, and if therapy is recommended, a detailed report with recommendations will follow. The pathologist will also discuss session times, therapy approaches and give you helpful exercises and strategies to use at home.
