- Problem-Solving Appointments
- Clinician gathers background information and provides helpful strategies, resources and recommendations regarding appropriate next steps, which may include recommendations for further assessments or referrals to other team members.
- Psychological Assessment
- Assessment and treatment service for individuals across the lifespan, skilled in assessment of anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, autism, behavioural problems, and emotion regulation difficulties.
- Learning Assessments
- Psychometric assessments to determine cognitive ability (IQ) and identify potential learning disorders, with access to a variety of tests including WISC, WPPSI, WAIS, WIAT and UNIT.
- Individual Psychological Sessions
- Ongoing therapy to assist with self-esteem, social understanding, assertiveness training, emotion management, parental support, executive functioning, and relationship difficulties.
- Speech Therapy Assessment & Treatment
- Assessment and treatment for language skills, autism and social communication, literacy development, speech sound difficulties, play skills, and dysfluency.
- Occupational Therapy Assessment & Treatment
- Assessment and treatment for sensory processing, fine motor skills, mealtime skills, toileting, functional assessment, play skills, and assistive technology advice.
- School Visits & Stakeholder Meetings
- School observations typically entailing 40 minute observation and 20 minute discussion with teacher/support staff, and stakeholder meetings via telehealth or in-person.
- Lego Group
- Saturday morning program providing a neuroaffirming, accepting space for children to relax, have fun together, and develop social experiences and playful learning opportunities.
- Enhancing Self-Esteem and Self-Identity Group
- 7-week program for teenage girls aged 13-17 designed to enhance self-esteem and self-identity by focusing on strengths, embracing differences, and encouraging individual passions.
- Autistic Youth Social Club: Art & Craft
- Club for autistic youth aged 8 and up to establish friendships through shared interests and reflect on topics impacting autistic young people such as identity, well-being, and self-advocacy.
- Draw It Out: Anime + Emotion Skills for Tweens & Teens
- Creative group for teens who love anime to learn drawing, express and manage emotions, and enhance social understanding using mindfulness-based techniques.

Our approach
Sessions are tailored to the individual and designed to be both engaging and professional, set within a comfortable, friendly and safe space. The clinic works collaboratively with families to teach them useful strategies to help better manage their challenges, support their strengths, and embrace their true selves. Practical strategies and support are provided alongside collaboration with other professionals involved in the individual's care, to ensure the best outcomes. The team emphasizes drawing upon strengths to enhance overall wellbeing and create brighter futures.
Meet the team
The clinic is led by Dr Louise Ford, the clinic director and clinical psychologist, alongside multiple qualified psychologists, two certified practicing speech language pathologists, and occupational therapists. The team includes both experienced clinicians and clinical psychology registrars, with many holding board-approved supervisor qualifications and memberships with professional bodies such as MAPS and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. Together they bring considerable years of experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across a range of developmental and psychological differences.
