  • Our approach

Each session provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients are empowered to deepen self-understanding and embrace new life strategies. The team combines professional expertise with genuine compassion, tailoring treatment to individual needs across trauma, mental health, relationships and family challenges. Sessions are personalised and flexible, accommodating various formats including in-person and telehealth options. The approach is grounded in Christian values that inform the practice with wisdom and grace, though the service welcomes and respects all clients regardless of background, belief or orientation. Therapists focus on helping clients rediscover their worth and power while working toward meaningful, purposeful change.

  • Working with families

The service works collaboratively with parents and carers throughout the therapeutic process. Counsellors can provide support and guidance to family members where applicable, and will share information with other service providers (such as schools or disability support agencies) with appropriate permission. For children with capacity, confidential service is provided while keeping carers involved in practical and educational goals. The team can assist with school integration support and developing individualised learning plans when needed, ensuring families are supported partners in the child's progress.

  • Meet the team

The team includes over 20 professionals: registered psychologists, Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, and registered clinical counsellors holding Master's degrees in counselling. All psychologists are fully registered, all social workers are AMHSW accredited, and all counsellors are registered with PACFA, ACA, or CCAA. Experience levels range from 40+ years down to 10+ years in full-time practice. Team members specialise in areas including trauma, mental health, family therapy, couples work and psychological assessments. Each professional is selected for integrity, expertise and genuine dedication to helping others navigate life's challenges.

  • Your first visit

When you call for a first appointment, you'll receive a free 15-minute consultation with an experienced Practice Manager trained in counselling. They will listen to your situation, explain what to expect, answer your questions and help match you with the most suitable therapist from the diverse team. Your counsellor will then call you to introduce themselves, clarify any accessibility needs, and ensure you have the necessary paperwork ready before your first session. This personalised intake process is designed to help you make a well-informed decision and set you on the right path from the start.
