About Botany Family & Childrens Centre
BFCC has been supporting the local community for over 40 years. We offer a welcoming, safe and culturally inclusive service to families and children. Our evidence based programs help to identify your strengths and can assist you in making the best decisions for yourself. Our Free and Confidential services are tailored to your specific needs.

Botany Family & Childrens Centre lists
- Circle of Security
- An eight-week program for parents/carers of children aged 0-5 years designed to help parents strengthen bonds with their children while teaching children to build secure relationships.
- Tuning into Kids™
- A six-week parenting program for children aged 5-12 years focused on developing emotional connection between parents/carers and their children, building parenting skills and emotional resilience.
- Tuning into Teens™
- A six-session program for young people aged 12+ years helping parents and carers guide their teen to become more self-assured, cope better with conflict and self-regulate emotions.
- Dads Tuning into Kids™
- A parenting program focusing on emotional connection and attachment between fathers and their children, helping dads develop skills to recognize, understand and manage feelings.
- Supported Playgroups
- A welcoming space where children learn and explore through play.
- Transition to School
- Support to help children prepare to start school and navigate this exciting journey.
- Family Support
- Counselling, advocacy, case work and referrals to help families navigate life's challenges and improve relationships.
- Parenting Support
- General parenting support services to help families enhance their parenting skills.

Working with families
Parents and carers are central to the service, as all programs are designed for them to attend and participate. The centre encourages families to call the parenting team to discuss their needs and make bookings. Services are free and confidential, tailored to each family's specific circumstances, helping you strengthen relationships and support your child's development.
