Our approach
Blossom Care Psychology uses an integrative, process-based approach grounded in contextual behavioural science, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems therapy. Sessions are tailored to each child's developmental level, focusing on helping young people develop flexibility, resilience and awareness of what matters to them. For children and adolescents, therapy incorporates evidence-based strategies including DNA-v, CBT, family systems work, and play therapy adapted to their age and needs. The provider operates from a neurodiversity-affirming philosophy, believing in supporting the individual's strengths and adjusting their environment to help them thrive rather than trying to change them.
