Our approach
Play therapy uses toys as children's natural language to express their inner thoughts, feelings and experiences. In a safe, accepting environment, children are supported to explore and understand that every emotion they have is valid. Sessions focus on helping children regulate emotions and experiences in their world through play-based expression. The therapist combines developmental, therapeutic and trauma-informed practice to meet each child's individual needs. A wide range of toys and materials—from art supplies to building materials to sensory play items—allows children to freely express themselves and work through their experiences at their own pace.
