Our approach
Aster and Sweetpea Services uses a strength-based approach that focuses on what children can do rather than what they struggle with. Sessions are personalised and evidence-informed, with support delivered across home, school, and community settings to help children develop skills in behaviour management, emotional regulation, and social connection. The team works collaboratively with families and educators, tailoring strategies to each child's unique needs and interests. Children are supported to build self-awareness, coping tools, and confidence so they feel calm and capable in everyday situations.
Working with families
Family involvement is central to the service, with parent, caregiver and educator coaching offered to help families better understand and support their child's unique needs. The team works collaboratively with parents and educators, providing practical strategies, tools, and confidence-building support tailored to each family's circumstances. Parents and carers are supported through coaching sessions alongside their child's support, with a focus on strengthening relationships and creating positive home and school environments. Hannah Stoppani also offers dedicated Parents and Carers Peer Support in both in-person and Zoom formats, providing a safe, compassionate space for emotional guidance and practical support.
